Gigi Jordan – On Wed. Oct. 22 longtime friend of Gigi Jordan, Rita Cristman gave evidence in the trial of Gigi Jordan, the pharmaceutical millionaire who is on trial at present for killing her autistic son with a lethal cocktail of drugs. We last reported on this story here.
She told the Manhattan court that Jordan had spoken openly about her wishes to kill fer son three years prior to the tragic incident took place.
Rita Cristman told in court of a phone convention she had with Jordan in 2006 regarding stem cell treatment that Jude Mirra was to have in Chicago. Jordan believed that this treatment would cure her son’s autism. During the conversation Jordan told that if the treatment did not work, she was going to end it.
“She said, ‘I’m going to give myself an overdose’ and I said, ‘What about Jude?’ and she said, ‘I’m going to take him with me and give him an overdose, too. I can’t leave him behind. No one would ever be there for him.’”
Jordan also made another admission during another phone call to her ex friend, Cristman claiming that parents of autistic children who die are better off than those who live. When Cristman asked Jordan why she believed this, Jordan told that”
‘Well one morning you wake up and the child is gone. It’s like they’ve been kidnapped and when your child is kidnapped you’re forever looking for them and wondering where they are and you can’t mourn.”
Cristman told the court that she never reported what Jordan had said as she did not believe that her friend meant it.
