Ex actress and The View hostess Jenny McCarthy is to take legal action against an article that appeared online citing a three year old interview with Time Magazine which claimed her son Evan did not have autism.

As Autism Daily Newscast reported yesterday that Ms McCarthy had taken to Twitter to make her opinions about these rumours quite public, and that the quote taken from the years old interview had been taken completely out of context.

She is now thought to be seeking professional legal advice to nip any more rumours about 11 year old Evan’s diagnosis in the bud.

She wrote on Twitter on January 4:

“Continued misrepresentations, such as these, only serve to open wounds of the many families who are courageously dealing with this disorder. Please know that I am taking every legal measure necessary to set this straight.”

It seems that Ms McCarthy is true to her word.
