Caught on Tape – New York School Principal heard calling special needs students “retards” and “animals”

New York – Principal Kimberly Taylor of Hilltop School in Haverstraw, that is for children with special educational needs, has been caught on tape calling students, “animals” and “retards.”

Several audio clips, that were taped by Kenneth Egan, a teaching assistant at the school, were given to the school district’s Superintendent,Dr. Mary Jean Marsico. One the tapes Ms Taylor can be clearly heard using abusive language towards the students.

In an audio clip  released by WABC-TV, Ms Taylor can clearly be heard calling the special needs students “retards” and “animals.” She can also be clearly heard saying:

“everyone knows this school is for kids that have behavior problems, so it will be a normal thing if we drag you down and pull you out.”

After submitting the tapes, Mr Egan was fired,  although Principal Taylor kept her job.

Eyewitness News state that Mr Egan’s lawyer will be suing in order to get his client’s job back and to get Ms Taylor out.
