Lego Therapy – Autism Daily Newscast often report about the benefits of Lego therapy for children with Autism. In May we reported about Tri-Cities Lego Club who are based in Northeast Tennessee. They offer Lego based therapy for children with autism. The article can be read here

In June, we also reported on  neuropsychologist Sarah Woldoff and CNNH creative arts director Kathleen Nace and their Lego Therapy Model which has been proven as an effective way for children with social difficulties, including autism,  to improve interaction without the use of medication. Thus story can be read here

In a recent article from the BBC they report that Lego therapy is now being used as an alternative therapy in order  to help children with autism and learning difficulties.

“Specialists from Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust have been showing parents how the bricks can be used to help children develop speaking and listening skills.”

BBC London’s Rebecca Williams spoke to parent Johanna Cordery and speech and language therapist Nicola Spray. The short video can be viewed over on the BBC London website.
