SpyFilm and television reviews by our resident autistic film critic Maymay.

Susan Cooper is an unassuming, deskbound CIA analyst, and the unsung hero behind the Agency’s most dangerous missions. But when her partner falls off the grid and another top agent is compromised, she volunteers to go deep undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent a global crisis.

This movie was really good and there was a lot of action in it but I didn’t find it funny. Melissa played a good spy and t was a good role for her. Jude Law was great to but a bit of a jerk. Susan was pretty smart for a spy who only sits at a desk in the office. Allison Janney’s character Elaine seemed kind of grumpy to me and didn’t like her although she is fantastic in West Wing. Although the double agent thing was predictable. I mean it’s a spy movie there has to be a double agent right? I really didn’t get the 50 cent scene either. Also does every spy thing have to be about blowing something up. Can’t their be like a new plan to destroy something besides a bomb that needs to be defused. The top spies were obviously bad spies if the enemy knew who they were and what they looked like. No one is supposed to know who you are.
