sesame-autismeParis France – A Flashmob is organized for April 2 at the Place de la Republique in Paris at 6 pm.

On the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day, volunteers of the Association Sesame Autisme and students IDRAC PARIS have decided to organize a Flashmob and are encouraging people with autism to show their support. The organization feels that the more who show up will provide a bigger opportunity to educate people.

On their website they express concern that in France, the situation for people with autism and their families remains critical despite the implementation of the 3ème plan Autisme by the Government.

They see April 2nd and the flash mob as an opportunity to attract the attention of the general public about the reality of this disability, the inadequacy of testing procedures and guidance on the disregard for the rights on the isolation of families and the too frequent exclusion of persons with autism .
