Professional Brooklyn hitman Jimmy Conlon is more commonly known as THE GRAVEDIGGER. Jimmy was a mob hit-man, who was best friends with his boss Sean Maguire. But when Jimmy’s son, Michael, is marked for death by the mob, Jimmy must go up against Sean to protect Michael at all costs. Together, he and Michael must avoid corrupt cops, contract killers and the mob to survive the night.

This was a really good action movie. Lots of running and lots of guns. Liam Neeson was fantastic in this movie but why is he always in a movie where his family is in danger? Joel was really good in the movie too. I did not picture Common as a killer though especially after that moving song he wrote with John Legend for Selma. It sort of felt like a new version of Taken except instead of a mother or daughter it’s a son. Shawn and Jimmy go from being friends to enemies pretty quick after the killing of Danny. Michael and Jimmy spend the rest of the night running and avoiding bullets and jail time. This is a movie good enough to watch a second time or maybe a third time. The little girls were adorable too.
