ProjectAlmanacFilm and television reviews by our resident autistic film critic Maymay.

As a group of friends discover plans for a time machine, they build it and use it to fix their problems and personal gain. But as the future falls apart with disasters, and each of them disappear little by little, they must travel back to the past to make sure they never invent the machine or face the destruction of humanity.

I thought this movie was really good, but I didn’t like the choppiness of the camera, or that the little sister was rarely on the screen. I know she was the one filming most of everything, but I think she should’ve been seen more often. I liked the Doctor Who reference, but felt Christina should have gotten it. Everyone knows who The Doctor is. At least they should. I thought it was really cool the movie was about time travel. I wish time travel was a real thing. I would like to travel through time like The Doctor. I wish I could travel with him, but even just to be able to go through time would be cool. This movie made me think a lot about the possibilities of traveling through time, and what would really happen if you made changes. What if you went back and helped Amelia Earhart, or made her postpone her flight? What if you could change the fate of the Titanic so no one died. How would the future change? This movie was fun and I’m glad I saw it. I just didn’t like the ending.
