Pat Haden – USC Athletic Director  has said that he will personally pay his $25,000 fine for inappropriate sideline conduct during USC’s victory at Stanford, the LA Times reports.

He will be donating the fine to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for autism research.

He tweeted:

The Pac-12 Conference that took place on Monday reprimanded Mr Haden and Coach Steve Sarkisian, Mr Haden was fined for engaging with officials after Steve Sarkisian was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct and delaying the game.

He tweeted that he wishes to honour his 5 year old grandson who has autism.
