The development comprises of ten studio apartments and 24 hour care is provided on site.
Cllr Cohen is quoted as saying:

“We have a shortage of accommodation for people with autism and Asperger’s syndrome in Barnet, so I salute Origin Housing for creating this scheme.”

Councillor Sachin Rajput, cabinet member for adults said that the development would allow and give the chance for Autistic adults to live independently but that support was there if they needed it.

“This will ultimately give its residents the skills and confidence they need to live independently in the future.”
