Anahuac High School, Texas – Christine Michael NFL player and Super Bowl champion, will be taking Taylor Kirkwood as a date to her high school prom. Taylor was voted Anahuac Homecoming Queen for this school year.
Stacie Holmes, Taylor’s mother told Houston’s KPRC that she wanted to do something special for her daughter, aged 18 who has autism. She told of how she had a cousin who attended high school with Michael in Beaumont and that they were able to relay the message to the 23-year-old running back.
Taylor talks of her excitement about choosing a dress for the prom and when her mother asks if she will kiss him, she firmly replies , yes. Holmes said,
“We talked colors and I just said pink, I know it’s going to be pink”
The prom is on April 12 and will be held at a country club in Baytown, Texas.
