MaleficentA beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. Maleficent rises to be the land’s fiercest protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal – an act that begins to turn her pure heart to stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces a battle with the invading king’s successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom – and perhaps to Maleficent’s true happiness as well.Written by Walt Disney Pictures

This was a fantastic movie. I loved it. You may think you know the story of Sleeping Beauty, but do you know Maleficent’s side of the story? Well, see this movie and you’ll find out! It is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. I loved that Angelina Jolie’s daughter was in the movie. She was very cute! You can see the mother/daughter connection in the scene. I loved Angelina as Maleficent. She was fantastic at playing evil. She was really scary and caring at the same time. After I saw this movie I felt so bad for Maleficent. No wonder she went evil and scary. She was treated very badly. This is a must see movie for everyone, even if Sleeping Beauty isn’t your favorite fairy tale.
