Keith Duffy is an Irish actor and singer of Boyzone fame, as well as an autism campaigner and advocate. He has a daughter who is on the autism spectrum. On Friday he appeared on the Late Late Show in a thought provoking interview.
Mr Duffy was recently awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery. This was in recognition of his campaigning, fundraising and activism. Autism Daily Newscast’s report on this event can be read here.
During the interview Mr Duffy spoke openly about raising a daughter with autism and the many issues that the family encounter in doing so.
