In the span of a single day, the town of Silverton is ravaged by an unprecedented onslaught of tornadoes. The entire town is at the mercy of the erratic and deadly cyclones, even as storm trackers predict the worst is yet to come. Most people seek shelter, while others run towards the vortex, testing how far a storm chaser will go for that once-in-a-lifetime shot.
I don’t know what it would be like to be a storm chaser, but this movie looked accurate and showed how dangerous it can be. Storm chasers are tough and have an important job. They are crazy to chase dangerous storms, but it’s important to give the information about the storms to warn people and save lives. I learned a lot. I never knew tornadoes can become a fire funnel. That is scary but cool to see. The effects in this movie were really good, and I liked how brave people were in the storm. I really liked seeing Nathan Kress in this. Seeing him with a camera reminded me of him when he was on ICarly.
