Hot PursuitFilm and television reviews by our resident autistic film critic Maymay.

An uptight and by-the-book cop (Reese Witherspoon) tries to protect the sexy and outgoing widow (Sofia Vergara) of a drug boss as they race through Texas pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen.

I thought this movie was funny. Sophia and Reese were a good team. They both had funny roles. Sophia’s character reminded me of her character Gloria from Modern Family. She married a rich man, has lots of heels, and a lot of clothes. The adventure looks fun and scary at the same time. Also very dangerous. The funny parts were the best parts about the movie. I liked the beginning but I don’t think cops are allowed to bring kids with them on the job especially when they are babies. That would be dangerous for the kid. She did end up a really strict cop. Which I think cops should follow the rules too. If their job is to enforce the rules and the law then they should follow them too.
