HomeFilm and television reviews by our resident autistic film critic Maymay.

When Oh, a loveable misfit from another planet, lands on Earth and finds himself on the run from his own people, he forms an unlikely friendship with an adventurous girl named Tip who is on a quest of her own. Through a series of comic adventures with Tip, Oh comes to understand that being different and making mistakes is all part of being human. And while he changes her planet and she changes his world, they discover the true meaning of the word HOME. Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna with Jim Parsons as the voice of Oh.

This movie was cute but it was predictable. You knew Tip would find her mom. It was really strange that the Boov could change colors depending on their mood. I thought the flying car was really cool. They did kind of speak really bad Yoda language. There should have been some sort of plot twist somewhere. Like if the mom wasn’t where they were expecting to find her and she was in a different town in Australia. The music was kind of catchy though. My hands were in the air like I just did not care. Rihanna and J-Lo were good and I liked Oh but it wasn’t the best movie ever. I personally think Big Hero 6 was better and they weren’t made by the same company. I thought Pig the cat was adorable though.
