“World Autism Awareness seems to be increasing in recent years. This has been so beneficial in recognizing and demystifying the disorder. Our event Wednesday will allow our students to socialize and celebrate their individual personalities that we all cherish about them,”
Jordan Morran, coordinating teacher at the center told TribLive.com that the students in the program love to experience new things and that when limitations are not set as to what students are expected to do then they excel beyond what anyone would have ever expected.
Amanda Freger said.
“Our students have such great spirits to achieve their goals and interact with others. This is a great worldwide day to celebrate, in addition to us having the opportunity to celebrate with them every day,”
