McKinney, Texas – Two coaches who make a difference for an autistic teen
14 year old Braden Bingham was the star football player last night by getting a touchdown for his team Dowell Middle School Lions against the Leonard Evans Middle School. The crowd roared with support as fellow team members and the opposition encouraged Brandon to pick up a fouled ball and run with it. While Brandon was the hero last night, credit goes to the two coaches from both teams.

The Bingham family credits Larry Jagours, who is a member of the special education department at Dowell Middle School, with helping Braden develop his skills and confidence on the football field this season.
Rita Bingham said Coach Jagours has dedicated hours to teaching her son technique and rules.
Talking with NBC 5, the Leonard Evans Coach, Matthew Guevara said,
“If we could be a part of just helping someone, you know, have a great moment then our guys were totally in. They were like, ‘We don’t care if it was a tiebreaker. We don’t care if it made us lose.’ We were just like, ‘Give him the shot to be the star of the moment.’ It was really cool.”
