Mark sailed in friend Josh Simmonds’ boat along with paying customers who were also enjoying a day’s fishing.

Mark told Rachel Stretton of the Dorset Echo:

“Josh warned them about what I was planning to do but I don’t think they actually believed it until we got out to sea and I stripped off.”

He then adds:

“However, they were all very supportive when they found out it was for charity and I raised £500 which is fantastic.”

Mark also told of how Autism Wessex is so helpful to parents who have children with special needs.
Mark set off on his expedition fully clothed and managed 3 hour wearing just the lobster thong on a cold day.
