Pleygo is an American company that allows you to borrow and swap LEGO sets via mail delivery.

This December they are holding their first Pleygo Holiday Brick Drive. It has been organized by both Pleygo and their partner organization, Generation Rescue.

You can donate new and used LEGO sets or bricks which will then be cleaned and sanitized and delivered to hospitals and other organisations that support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) throughout the U.S.

As reported by Autism Daily Newscast, LEGO play therapy has shown to have benefits for children with autism.

The article on the Inhabitots website states:

“Everyone who makes a donation will receive a free month of a Pleygo Super Fan subscription (worth $25).”

You can also support by donating money.

You can visit Pleygo’s holiday LEGO donation page here

The event ends on December 13, 2013.  However Pleygo plan to donate more bricks throughout the year.
