AmericanSniperFilm and television reviews by our resident autistic film critic Maymay.

From director Clint Eastwood comes “American Sniper,” starring Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle, the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history.  Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle’s pinpoint accuracy saves countless lives on the battlefield and turns him into a legend. Back home to his wife and kids after four tours of duty, however, Chris finds that it is the war he can’t leave behind.

This is a really good movie. I think everyone should see it. Bradley Cooper played Chris Kyle. Chris Kyle was a US Navy SEAL. This is a big deal. Not everyone can make it in the SEAL training. It is very hard. He did seem pretty determined to fight and protect his country, so that helped him become a SEAL. He was also a very good shooter. He had good skills with a rifle and was able to use his skills to save many lives. Chris was so good at his job they called him Legend, and the terrorists were offering money for someone to kill him. He was able to shoot terrorists from far away with his rifle. He would stay on the roof and watch his guys, and then shoot anyone trying to kill them.

This movie had many things that went BOOM! The terrorists used a lot of bombs and tried very hard to kill the US soldiers. It was sad and scary what the soldiers had to do to get the terrorists The Butcher scared me. I’m glad that we have people like Chris who protect us from terrorists like the butcher. I also liked that Chris was helping veterans and how he was honored for saving so many lives. I was sad that he was killed by someone he was trying to help. I liked that they played the videos at the end. They made me sad but also proud.

I would give this movie more stars, but 5 is as high as I go.  [reviewrocket_review]
