thejudgeA successful lawyer returns to his hometown for his mother’s funeral only to discover that his estranged father, the town’s judge, is suspected of murder. He sets out to discover the truth and along the way reconnects with the family he walked away from years before.

I liked this movie but it was sad. I really liked Robert Downey Jr. in this movie but he is funnier when he is Iron man. I didn’t like Glen very much but I do like him in Men in Black. I liked Dale but I really disliked that someone called him the “R” word. I didn’t like Hank’s wife in this movie but I really liked her in Chuck. I thought it was cool that Hank was representing his dad in court and trying to protect him. I thought Dwight Dickham was a big jerk lawyer. I think out of all the characters in the movie I liked Lauren the best. She was really cute. I liked that Hank got to reconnect with his family the whole time he was there. I also liked the town’s name, Carlinsville. It reminds me of a teacher I had, Mr.Carlin.It’s spelled the same way too. I thought the end was very sad.
