Harrisburg, Penn. — Get on Board, a program supported by the Autism Society that helps children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) learn how to skateboard, recently partnered with VeTour Productions for a fundraiser called ‘Skate or Live a Little’.

The event, which was held last Saturday, turned the Appalachian Brewing Company’s parking lot in Harrisburg into a full-blown street skate park for skating enthusiasts.

Entry fee for those who wanted to watch and compete in the event was at $5, while participants in the competition were given the chance to enter the event’s music portion for free, and observers paid an additional $5.

All proceeds from the event to Get on Board, to benefit skateboarding students with autism.

The ‘Skate or Live a Little’ event also held an afterparty at the ABC’s Abbey Bar, which featured performances by Hello Dharma, MansionBuilder and Headache With Pictures.
