Jean Nicol, Nova Scotia – Jean is a retired Special Education Teacher, living in Nova Scotia, who loves spending her time being an advocate for those with autism.
In 2007 she was in a very fortunate position to respond to a friend’s cry for help with her autistic son who had eating challenges.
With a Degree in Nutrition, 32 years teaching, 2 years as a school board Autism Consultant and 3 years as an Early Interventionist she created The Eating Game for this little boy. It was so successful that she continued to create The Eating Game that now has patent rights in Canada and the USA.
Jean started working on The Eating Game to help her friend’s child learn to eat different types of foods and make it fun. Well, it worked. Now, she makes The Eating Game to help children and adults on the Autism spectrum who may need the extra support to diversify their diets.
