Ottawa, Canada –  Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper has announced that federal funding will be given to five new projects researching the prevention of Alzheimers and autism.

These five projects will look closely at the development of new prevention stages CTVnews canada reports on May 1.

Leading authors are from Canadian centres of excellence in research including researchers at McGill University, the University of Toronto, McMaster University and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
