The Specialists Guild, San Francisco – is helping adults with autism to find employment in the technology industry,

The recently published report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states thet one in 68 American children has an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), a 30% increase from two years ago.

Many adults with autism struggle to find work.

The Specialists Guild, a non-profit group in San Francisco prepares people with autism for jobs in the technology industry.

Co-founder Andy Aczel siad:

“They think outside of the box because they don’t see any box,”

The website states that they focus on helping people on the higher end of the Autism Spectrum as government services do not typically assist these individuals.

“We are a nonprofit social enterprise providing training and career opportunities for people so they are able to contribute to society in line with their intelligence and abilities.”
