It is a compact camera and is one of the easiest ones to use. The menu is accessible with a menu button on the back and in fact all the important options that are mostly commonly used are accessible through these buttons. This makes it very easy to use for those who have autism condition and they can easily remember which button to select for accessing a particular option. This camera has a huge list of shooting programs loaded into it. The special effects are pretty much basic and there are 7 of them to choose from.
The camera also comes with 70mb of default memory without any external card so you can take the pictures even when there is no memory card in it. One area where the camera could have been improved in terms of its body design is the grip. The grip is very compact and makes it hard to hold the camera while taking a picture and this could be a problem for autistic individuals as well since the constant slipping and holding the camera could become a repetitive task for them while using this camera. The iA mode is a great option for all newbie photographers so they don’t have to worry what options to use while taking photos.
The optical image stabilization option is there to avoid the blur that often appears while taking photos. The motion blur control is also a great feature in this camera that makes sure to switch between different ISO levels depending on the speed of the subject in the photo to avoid the motion blur. The LCD screen with 230K dots is not the best that you will get. The charger is supplied with the camera for external charging and the Li-Ion battery is expected to live for 250 shots in ideal conditions. If you are not satisfied with all those smartphone applications to enhance the performance of your smartphone camera, this is the right product for you and your autistic chile.
