Michael Whary tells ‘Autism is My Super Power’ in new Chicken Soup for the Soul

Back in February this year we told the story of Michael Whary, an energetic and intelligent 17 year old who has autism. Interview – Judi Whary talks about son Michael, who made autism awareness video that went viral.

Michael had made a video presentation for his Eagle Scout project and it instantly went viral.

Well now the host of INSIDE EDITION and co author of the latest Chicken Soup for the Soul book, has told that, ” [Michael] has not only surpassed any impediments he has made as he puts it in his story — his superpower. Autism is his super power.”

Michael’s story is to be included in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Think Possible: 101 Stories about Using a Positive Attitude to Improve Your Life, with his entry entitled, “Autism is My Super Power.”

Norville further added:

“When you think that something might happen, there is still that element of doubt. But despite that doubt you are willing to go for that goal.”
