Bedford, Texas – Luis “Luigi” Araud, 28, has been returned to his family. As reported in Autism Daily News, Araud left home on November 9th, after an argument with his parents. He was approached by Irving police two days later but he ran away.

According to wfaa.com ABC8 news, Luis Araud was located near a highway over 30 miles west of where he lives.

In a news release, Lt. David Smith said that upon being found, Araud told the deputy

“he wanted to go home.”

Smith said his family was called and they reunited with Araud in Sunnyvale.

Meanwhile, parents and volunteers continue to search the New York City area and beyond for Avonte Oquendo who has been missing for almost 6 weeks.
