Okay, so I’m not a Broadway musical, show tunes type of person, but this movie was really really good. I had NO interest in seeing Jersey Boys because I go to Six Flags Great Adventure all summer and they play songs from Jersey Boys non-stop. Especially “Sherrie”. When you hear a song that many times you begin to not like it. Well, I’m glad I went. The story and plot were great, and some of the songs are fantastic. My favorite song is “I Love You Baby” because my mom has sung it to me since I was a baby.
I got into the movie and was interested in what happened to Frankie Valli. There were some parts that made me laugh, and I felt bad for Frankie when he lost his daughter to drugs. He was trying hard to be a good dad to her and help her get her dream as a singer. I was impressed with Frankie Valli. He was a loyal friend even when his best friend wasn’t being a friend to him. He took care of people and tried to do the right thing. Not many people are like that. My mom always says you have to treat people with love and kindness even when you don’t feel like it, and that’s what Frankie did.
