The Global Autism Project is a non-profit organization that aims to eradicate the disparity in the services being provided by caregivers around the globe by making certain that the same standard in the quality of interventions being given to children with special needs is also available overseas.
Among those handpicked by the organization to provide training on high-caliber evidence-based practices for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is Jennifer Fisher, who will be traveling to India with six other highly-trained clinicians by December of this year.
The clinicians will be working with the SOREM Center for children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. They will be training staff at the center, and will also be reaching out to families caring for children on the spectrum.
