Christopher Duffley, 12 has autism and is registered blind. He was placed in foster care when he was just a baby.

Christopher did not begin to speak until the first grade and discovered his ability to sing and play instruments from an early age.

The Blaze reports that Christopher recently performed at World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee where he inspired parishioners with a performance of Mercy Me’s “I Can Only Imagine.”

World Outreach Church’s YouTube page posted a video of the performance with narration by his aunt, Christine Duffley. You can watch the video below.

Christopher was born prematurely at 26 weeks and Christine, whose brother is the biological father, adopted Christopher when he was 14 months old.

Christine believes that God has truly blessed him and she says in the video:

“When Christopher sings ‘Open the Eyes of My Heart’ he teaches us to not see everything with our eyes — but to see things the way God sees things through our heart,”
