Chappie – Hugh Jackman not right person to play a bad guy

ChappieFilm and television reviews by our resident autistic film critic Maymay.

In the near future, crime is patrolled by an oppressive mechanized police force. But now, the people are fighting back. When one police droid, Chappie, is stolen and given new programming, he becomes the first robot with the ability to think and feel for himself. As powerful, destructive forces start to see Chappie as a danger to mankind and order, they will stop at nothing to maintain the status quo and ensure that Chappie is the last of his kind.

I thought Chappie was funny. He kind of looks like a robot bunny. I like Hugh Jackman but I don’t think he was the right person to play a bad guy. My favorite character was Yolandi because she was just so sweet to Chappie and acted like his mommy. My least favorite was Ninja. He was a bit mean. Although if there was a robot as nice as Chappie I would get one. My favorite part is when Chappie turns on the tv and He-man is on. I aslo liked that he mimicked the movements. I liked when Yolandi and Deon were teaching him how to paint. I wish I could paint like that. That robot has some skills. As CEO of the company Sigourney Weaver’s character, Michelle Bradley should of been in the movie more.
