Awareness for Autism, Ilkeston, UK – had a charity football match held in their honour on Monday.

Derby County legends and special guests took on amateur footballers at the charity match located at the iPro Stadium. 400 people watched the match, which was sponsored by Ilkeston based company Aquarius Home Improvements.

The Sensory Technology FC took on Aquarius Legends FC.

Sensory Technology FC took home the trophy after a 9-1 win.

The charity’s co-founder John Daly, said:

“We are hoping that not only did everybody have a great day but they we will have also raised awareness of Autism and also raised money to enable us to grow and continue to provide support to families living with Autism and help provide vital sensory equipment. I would like to say a massive thank you to everybody who got on board and helped with this event.”
