Autism Daily Newscast (ADN), which is also an official Google News site, launched Autistic Spectrum Digest (ASDigest) on the Apple Digital Newsstand in November 2013 and their Android platform app in February of this year.

The magazine was created for people living with Autism and autistic Spectrum Disorders. It offers real life, real people, inspiration, new technology and a unique look at life, inside the spectrum. Articles are written by people on the spectrum for people on the spectrum.

“These apps are great resources of information and relay current events of interest to those on the autism spectrum and to those who love and care for them,” said Roberta Hill, ADN’s Publisher and Editor-in-Chief. “Our goal is to provide useful and valuable information that is written in an easy to understand format and I am pleased to say with the ability to view the magazines right from one’s computer, we have achieved our goal.”

Shan Ellis the Editor of Autistic Spectrum Digest (ASDigest) said,

“We have accomplished a great deal in the past year since we have been publishing Autistic Spectrum Digest. I’m also a journalist, which lit my passion for a magazine that I could sit down and read on my iPad in the evening which would allow me to see the latest news, gadget reviews, and some stories that would make me feel inspired, and that I wasn’t alone. Each month we offer real stories about real people living their lives with and around autism and autistic spectrum disorders. I am excited to be able to offer this service to those who do have an iPad or tablet.”
