Idaho – Noah Aldrtich, 8 and his brother, Lucas, 6, recently competed in their local YMCA triathlon.
Lucas was born with lissencephaly, this is a rare brain malformation and can result in seizures and other serious problems.
Noah told his parents that he wanted to take part in the triathlon, but only if his brother could take part too.
Noah trained for three months before the triathlon began.
The NY Meta website states that on July 12;
‘he cycled for 3 miles with his brother…
Swam over 200 yards…
And ran for 1 mile pushing Lucas in a special buggy.’
Their mother, Alissa Aldrich told that they share an amazing bond, that they are best friends and do everything together.
“the connection and the love that they share is truly unique.”
