Tim Crosley from Wimbledon raises £10,000 for the National Autistic Society

Tim Crosley is a lawyer from Wimbledon, UK and conducted a Christmas Carol Concert at St Clement Danes Church on the Strand in Westminster, London on December 4.

Mr Crosley as well as being a lawyer also acts as Director for the EC4 Music group which consists of 120 singers.

During the events he was joined by Jane Asher who is the President of the National Autistic Society (NAS) and who conducted one song. The NAS is the UK’s leading charity for autistic people and their families.

The event consisted of readings, carols and a blessing from the Archbishop of Westminster, Vincent Nichols. The concert raised £10,000 for the charity.

Mr Crosley is quoted in the Your Local Guardian article as saying

“Working with the NAS on events I have learnt so much about autism, I hope our donation will go some way to helping the NAS give people with autism the chance they deserve.”

All of the money raised will go to the Employee Mentoring Scheme run by the NAS which helps support people with autism to gain employment.
