Tuckahoe Middle School, New York – will welcome best-selling author and autism advocate Jesse A. Saperstein for a presentation to students on April 25.
Jesse A. Saperstein has Asperger’s syndrome and is author of, “Atypical: Life with Asperger’s in 20 1/3 Chapters,” published by Penguin Group in April 2010.
The book quickly rose to the top of Amazon.com, Jesse is a dynamic media personality, motivational speaker and an advocate for people with disabilities.
Jesse regularly visits schools and is currently working on initiatives to pioneer a middle/high school class in New York that will focus on educating young people about misunderstood disabilities and the psychological and legal consequences of bullying.
